Great insights from this! I haven't read it yet but the mystery in the book will definitely push me to it. Cooking a two sided story is definitely interesting. It appears I will dive into it soon. Nice work.

Congrats on BOTD!
The gripping murder mystery "Shucked Up" by Leelon Edwards has a rich Florida atmosphere and ingenious turns. With contaminated oysters endangering the Florida seafood sector, Drew and Mack are investigating the matter. A crime fiction enthusiast's must-read.

The book seems packed with knowledge. I wouldn't have imagined oysters carrying diseases, as I don't care for them that much. This got me thinking about what other things we eat that are also harmful to us.

A fantastic murder mystery story in Florida settings can be found in the book "Shucked Up" by Leelon Edwards. This is the third installment in the Mack and Drew series.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Shucked Up is a well-crafted mystery with relatable characters and a captivating plot. Leelon Edwards has managed to create a story that not only entertains but also provokes thought about the complex interplay between health mandates and local economies. Fans of the genre will surely find this installment a rewarding read. Highly recommended for those who enjoy a good whodunit with a side of social commentary!

Cracking book. I did wonder if I would be lost without the backstory of the other books in the series but it stands alone. Right amount of plot twists, keeping the reader engaged throughout. Also, spoiler alert, provides a realistic picture of the conflict between making a profit and keeping people healthy!!

The book sounds exciting. People will go to any length not to loose their income whether it is legal or illegal. It will be interesting to figure out if they find who attempted to kill Mack and how they solve the murder mystery in general. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I have not been following in on the previous Mark and Drew mysteries as I am a new member. Still, mysteries are my go to in fiction. They bring out the Sherlock Holmes in me. I am totally in this one. Nice review, and congrats to the author on BOTD

A fictional murder mystery that is quite nicely written. The setting of the plot surprises me; it's incredibly creative that it depicts the beneficial and detrimental aspects of food. This is the genre I've always enjoyed the most. Throughout, there are logical cues that you must follow in order to find the big surprise. Congrats on BOTD.

Without reading like a sermon, Edwards incorporates the ecological importance of oysters and the flimsiness of the Apalachicola Bay ecosystem into the story. It shows us that real world issues, which though they exist to be solved, are overlooked.

The characters, especially Drew, are a type of Floridian you can laugh at, but also believe, and that’s some Florida authenticity right there, added by the humor. Congrats on #BOTD
