I am shaking with excitement! I love reading Shakespeare's work. And to bring in a murder involving an artifact owned by Shakespeare?! Oh, goosebumps. I can't wait to give this a go and see how it ends. Thanks for the wonderful insights!

This novel seems to have all the elements that make a good mystery. An innocent suspect having to prove she's innocent and find a priceless artifact, a brutal murder and historical significance. Thank you for your informative review.

"Shakespeare’s Table" by Howard Gimple is a gripping murder mystery with a literary twist. As Jordan fights to save her department, she also becomes a suspect in a shocking murder. Twists, clues, and surprises make this a must-read for mystery lovers. Congratulations on being BOTD!

Great review! The book sounds very intriguing and one that pulls you in from the start. I don't usually read murder mysteries, but I am going to give this one a try.

In the book Shakespeare's Table, Jordan, the main character, is having a horrible time because her department is going to be cut due to funds. The table that belonged to Shakespeare and was provided by a professor outside Jordan's office after he suffered a severed head on a spike, and Jordan is a person of interest in the murder investigation, so she must prove her innocence, also the author did a great job hiding clues throughout the book. Excellent BOTD.

Thank you for your review. I liked the drama between the professor and the suspect. The description of the professor's lifestyle and his home was amazing. It is an interesting mystery from the start. Congrats to the author for the #BOTD.

'I appreciated the flow of the story. As the murder mystery progressed, different characters began to look more or less guilty as new facts were uncovered.'
This murder mystery sounds so intriguing.

It looks, according to the review, that the book is not without some minor flaws, but in my opinion, it still sounds very interesting. Then again, I might be a bit biased because I always liked the stories where the main suspect is forced to take investigation into their own hands to find the real culprit and prove their innocence. Thanks for the gift, and congrats on BOTD!

I'm interested in finding out who's behind the plan to get rid of Jordan's department and how they're going to handle the situation.

"Shakespeare's Table" by Howard Gimple is a book centered on Jordan. Her department is to be cut, because of the budget constraints. Nevertheless, she puts all her hopes in the table that belonged to Shakespeare, whose donation would surely save her department.

A murder mystery tied to Shakespeare and a high-stakes academic setting? That sounds like an intense and gripping read! I love when a story keeps you guessing and the clues all come together in the end.

This review does a great job of highlighting the strengths of Shakespeare's Table. I appreciate how the mystery kept shifting as new clues emerged, making different characters seem more or less guilty. It's always satisfying when a book leaves subtle clues throughout that make sense in hindsight. I also find it interesting that the fast-paced nature of the story may have impacted the emotional weight of a major reveal. That makes me curious to see how the book balances mystery and character development. Thanks for the insightful review!
