It sounds like Matthias has to go on quite a journey. I’d be interested in reading the sample of this book to see if it would be something I’d enjoy. Great review!

How shocking it is when you wake up with a different identity- that was what Callaghan faced. Something unresolved in the past with his former identity, how was Callaghan managed to fix the latter? Kim came up with this captivating story that will thrill you immensely. Though this is not my type of book, I was intrigued. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

Losing face is one thing, but losing your face is something else again.... Losing ten fingers and your memory on top of it is quite catastrophic.
The review provides a vivid impression of two fascinating and action-filled novels by a talented author. I have downloaded them and am keen to start reading.

Kim Ekemar is a great author and narrator. The narration he employed was compelling, powerful, and suspenseful.

I can't agree more with all praise in the review, and especially this quote. I am yet to read to the point of the loose ends mentioned in the review but look forward to reading this exciting thriller.

Reading this review makes me agree with the reviewer, it is true indeed. The author is as good as you can get, and the plot seems interesting and exciting to me. No doubt, this might be one of the best fictional tales ever read. Congrats on BOTD!

Yes! I liked very much the part about memory retrieval that it came back in the long run which made him remember the events one after another this seems very logical

Both books seem like they're well written and have captivating storylines. I like that the first book mainly focuses on the mystery surrounding Callaghan's injuries and that the second centers around the aftermath of and consequences of Callaghan's actions in the first book. I'm looking forward to reading both books.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Matthias Callaghan get his revenge against who destroyed his face and severed his fingers and why would someone get this kind of mutilation. I like suspense novels and this one is right up my alley.

The plot is like an emotional rollercoaster. His life sounds so complicated. It would be a great suspenseful-thriller when the cost of revenge was involved. But I'm not a fan of torture. And this is too much for my anxiety. Thank you for a nice review.

It reminds me of war stories where soldiers or knights would suddenly lose one of their limbs and continue to live like heroes. I think it should be an inspiring story.

I cannot imagine what Matthias and Juliana went through as Matthias lay in bed, wrapped up like a mummy, not knowing what happened. To make it worse, he couldn't remember much or communicate when he first woke up. I am interested to find out who took his face and ten fingers away. How did he overcome these medical difficulties and find a new sense of self? Terrific book review!
