A book that deals with topics such as infidelity and loveless relationships. Feeling trapped in a marriage and considering that divorce is not an option to avoid losing your assets. Proposing the option of murdering your spouse as a solution addresses a complex issue with dark humor.

This review makes me want to read this book. It has quite a twist with the husband trying to kill his gold-digging wife before he loses his faculties. Not your average murder, or your average murderer! Great review!

Thanks for your review! The premise sounds really interesting. I wonder if Garrison will be able to pull his murder plot before his Alzheimer's incapacitates him. The chapter titles are also unique; I've always appreciated that in a book. I'm curious to see how Tessie deals with her disillusioned husband. It would be interesting if Frank somehow gangs up with Garrison to get their revenge.

This is a very interesting novel to read just by reading the review and am sure there are much more dark humor in it. I am already a fan. Congrats on making the BOTD.

I'm a bit wary of reading this book since the chapter title seems to contain possible domestic abuse. Also there seems to be no other grounds for "enticing" a newly divorced man except for his money. The behavior of these characters are really not to my taste. Thank you for the review.

That was an amusing review, and I am looking forward to reading this book. That quote from Winston Churchill was great addition or we wont have known exactly how beautifully the novel has been compiled.

The story begins with a romantic dip in the vacation pool when Tessie is almost going to get pulled away by the strong blades of the
motor only to be quickly rescued by the poolboy as Garrison looks in total disbelief.
Seems to be an interesting read ..... :techie-studyinggray:

I'm not a fan of dark humor, so I'm not very sure I'd enjoy the writing style of this author. However, the plot is really attractive and suspenseful for me that I don't think I can stay away. Thanks for the gripping review.

The title is provocative. The cover design would hint of Tessie's bad intentions, but it seems it was Garrison who was actively premeditating about the matter. The plot is engrossing enough to hook anyone in the perimeter of its influence, as what happens to me. I might give this book a go when time permits. Thanks for the review.

Very interesting book. I must be in the minority because it just did not appeal to me. I enjoy dark humor but the subject matter os of interest to me. But great review!

Even though I really like the premise of this book, I fear that Tessie would get on my last nerve cuz she's just the kind of self-absorbed female that I dislike intensely, so I'll have to mull it over some more. Thanks for the intro!

For anyone looking for a short novel, filled with dark humor, and interpersonal relationships, this just might be the one.
