When I take a careful look, the burger on the cover is being exhibited at the point of the knife that impaled it right in the middle, the dripping sauce makes it look like it is bleeding; and doh, one would notice the words 'a thriller' at the bottom of the cover.
Eating Bull, is the nickname given by his grandpa to fifteen years old Jeremy, who is morbidly obese and dealing with health issues despite his young age. He hates being called Eating Bull. At the second chapter, a murder and the mystery begin.
The book is very well written, the characters well developed, it is a pleasure to go through the story and made me want to read more and more. From now on the author, Carrie Rubin, is one of my favorites.

Thank you for your insightful review of "Eating Bull." I appreciate your analysis of the characters and the themes, particularly how Jeremy, Sue, and Darwin reflect contemporary societal issues.
I am glad you noted Sue's advocacy for change regarding obesity and the food industry, as it aligns with vital discussions in today’s health landscape. Your comments on the pacing and climax are also valued, as it is a good aim to provoke thought on weight, health, and personal responsibility.
I acknowledge that the graphic content may not suit all readers and I appreciate your honesty regarding this aspect. The goal was to portray the real challenges of obesity and the extreme measures that can arise.
Thank you for your thorough review and high rating. I hope "Eating Bull" continues to inspire important conversations.
Best regards,
