‪Devil in False Colors by Jack Winnick. Great terrorist thriller! Lara and Uri make an awesome team to fight terrorists. A fictional book that could be fact, very enjoyable.

The book looks well edited and the storyline and plot seems engaging but it's not a book I'm quite interested in. I'd recommend it to lovers of politics and sci-fi terrorism genre though.

This book seems to reflect what's happening in the world today. I'm interested in reading "The Devil in False Colors" because it appears to be both interesting and informative. Thank you for the BOTD congratulations!

“Devil in False Colors” by Jack Winnick is the 3rd book in Winnick’s fictional 5-book Lara and Uri series. This story begins with a massacre of five young Jewish children in their classroom. The bodies were mutilated by the terrorists and this act really turned my stomach. To kill innocent children is a horrendous act that will drive Lara and Uri to hunt down the perpetrators and their leader. This reminds me of the Russian missiles that have been fired at Ukrainian schools and hospitals that have killed innocent children. These acts cannot be tolerated and the perps must be hunted down and brought to justice. I highly recommend this book. Very good review.

What a horrible way this book began. I understand this is a book of fiction, but in the world today, there is so much war and atrocities, mass shootings at schools, and so much violence that I don't think I could stomach a book like this right now.

I read the sample on Amazon, and I will say that the book did grab my interest, and the author's ability to tell a story kept me reading. I agree with you that it is well written. But as I continued reading, I worried; I did not want to read anything like I had just read in the beginning.

In your review, you stated that you thoroughly enjoyed the book, which makes me think that perhaps it would be safe to keep reading after the first couple of chapters. I wish your review could have given me more of an answer to that.

Thank you for your review. It was very informative without giving away anything.

It looks like an interesting book with geopolitics, murders and terrorist attacks. Lara and Uri team up to go undercover and stop the attacks. Thank you for your review!

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Uri and Lara will be able to prevent more massive damage and death after a California preschool terrorist attack killing children. Terrorism is a very controversial and yet relevant and timely topic to feature in a book so congrats to the author.

Devil in False Colors, written by Jack Winnick is a crime thriller that infuses a touch of romance and counterterrorism themes. It is sure to leave the reader turning the pages to the very end. Congratulations on BOTD.

Hmmm...Lara sounds like an amazing, independent and courageous lady because it takes courage to work in a field dominated by men. I like action thrillers with a mix of romance, and this book sounds like one. Congratulations on BOTD!!

Your insightful review brilliantly captures the geopolitical depth of "Devil in False Colors." Your analysis of the novel's connection to historical events and its exploration of complex geopolitical issues adds a layer of intellectual engagement. Your appreciation for the well-developed characters, especially Lara, and the author's skillful handling of political nuances is evident. The mention of potential reader discontent with politically charged perspectives adds a thoughtful note of consideration. Your final rating of 4 out of 4 stars reflects your overall positive experience. Well-done :tiphat:

I love books that are fiction but seemed real. I love how the writer gave detailed information on religion-based terrorism.
