This book has a great storyline. It would be perfect for readers who enjoy thrillers. It's unfortunate that it lost points in the review because of the issues mentioned. Congratulations on making book of the day!

Personally, I think it's your choice to make up what each character's voice sounds like, and you failed to do that because you were already not having a positive experience with the book. As you said, the book did not give you the thrill you were seeking, therefore all the voices and tones became monotonous. This murder mystery does seem like an interesting read despite its critical review. I love reading murder mysteries, and it's also part of a series. An illegal network involved in trafficking stolen military weapons is an interesting concept for this book.

This is a great review. The book talked about the life of waste collectors as they are usually not been taken care of in the society. They pay them low and overwork them. I wish the dialogue of the characters are more improved too.

I like a crime story with a dynamic flow in the plot. This might not be for me considering the conversations sound monotonous and the setting is uneventful. However, some readers may enjoy the lesser tension in this book. Congratulations on the BOTD.

The story's plot seems educative and entertaining but the mechanical dialogue is not good enough. I will like to try it out though. Congrats on BOTD.

The title and storyline are superb. However, I'll not read this work due to its lack of depth. Life is not usually smooth sailing for lead protagonists. So, Hunk solving a crime by just chatting and eating doesn't speak well for the bad guys and therefore the whole story. It's like the murderer didn't think through his actions, which is not at all thrilling. Anyway congrats on the BOTD.

Raoul Martez's experience at Trinity Waste Management captures the plight of many employees who are being underpaid and yet made to, sometimes against their wish, work beyond the terms and conditions - without any compensation for extra time. This is a critical issue out there, and I am glad it is addressed in this novel.

The book started well with an intriguing storyline, but unfortunately, the book lacked some grease subsequently. I still wouldn't completely rate it low. I still feel it will be worth reading. Congratulations on BOTD.

From this review, the constructive criticism made by the reviewer should be analyzed and worked upon by the author, for an improved write up. Congratulations to this book of the day and a satisfactory review.

I love a good mystery novel now and then, but your review does not seem exciting enough to keep me reading in anticipation, trying to solve the murder. Thanks for the review though.

Trash/Garbage collectors are not given recognition for the invaluable service they offer to our society. And, Raoul representing these hardworking individuals makes him a very compelling character.

This book started pretty well with an interview scene. I'm, however, not sure I'll complete it.
