Jack Winnick's "East Wind, Second Edition" is an excellent novel because it draws on the whole notion of a thriller in the setting of a deadly plot to use nuclear strikes on American cities. Congrats on #BOTD

The synopsis of "East Wind" presents a gripping espionage thriller with a unique blend of characters like Uri Levin and Lara Edmond facing imminent threats from Hezbollah operatives. The author's ability to intertwine personal and secret intelligence stories between characters adds depth and realism to the narrative, elevating it beyond the typical spy novel. The promise of a climactic confrontation and the mention of a sequel, "Devil Among Us," heightens the anticipation for readers. Nice review.

i must admit, i don't really think much of spy or terrorist novels, but christina has me thinking that she read a good book. however, i'm not sure that something that didn't have flawless grammar could have a four star rating, but she does make some good arguments for reading the book. also, there is an audio version available for those who actually don't want to read it. hopefully, the book will be as detailed as she claims.

From an early age, I used to hear about Hezbollah and up-to-date, I have never researched any further. East Wind, 2nd edition" by Jack Winnick no doubt presents me with a perfect opportunity to learn more especially in the form of a novel which feels more at home than going to hard facts. Added it to my reading list.

Books about terrorism have been on the rise these days and many of them have gotten high praise from readers. This book isn’t my cup of tea, but it seems that the tactic of alternating perspective is used well here, unlike in many books. Thanks for the succinct review.

I would pretty much be scared if it was threatened that terrorists were going to bomb my nation. But Lara and Uri have really strong and resilient Hearst. They fight terrorists and are good at their job. Congratulations on making a book of the day.

The story reveals the impressive credentials of its central characters, establishing Lara as having mastered the rigorous four-month FBI training program at Quantico, while Uri boasts an even more exceptional pedigree as a graduate of both the Mossad's and CIA's elite, lethal intelligence academies. This intriguing juxtaposition of their specialized skills and backgrounds suggests the narrative will be rich in suspense and high-stakes encounters, as these two highly capable protagonists, each with their own unique set of specialized abilities, find their paths crossing in unexpected ways. The detailed character sketch promises a captivating storyline where the depth and complexity of Lara and Uri's qualifications will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in shaping the events to unfold.

I don't usually read spy thrillers, but I've just finished the free Kindle sample and I want to read more! I love the unexpected opening and the variety of characters, as the author switches between them. I feel a connection to the characters already, after only a glimpse of each over a few chapters. Well written and interesting.

"East Wind, 2nd edition" by Jack Winnic is a fiction with a lot of research on facts in the plot. Walid Jahangir was under the influence of terrorists when he was young. He moved to the U.S. to complete his education. Walid Jahangir knows that the terrorists are planning a bomb attack in the U.S. Will he help Uri and Lara or will he let the terrorist achieve their goal? Get this book to find out more. Congrats on BOTD!!

think the author has done a good ob in putting all this together, as confirmed by switching the narrative perspective from one character to character and giving a good background to each of the characters. The review got me very interested in reading the thriller novel looking forward to reading the book.
