It's interesting how this book seems to take the "political thriller" archetype and add an engineering-related twist to it. However, I also agree that pointed cliffhangers are rather amateurish on the part of the author. Anyway, thanks for the review.

Based on its premise dealing with a complex web of corporate and political interests I expected this book to be somewhat long. I'm glad to know it's a fast-paced and relatively short read, which should definitely please fans of thrillers. Thanks for the review!

I think a cliffhanger at the end of my "airport" book would make me mad. Unless I know going in that this is the start of a series and the storyline is not going to be cleared up at the end, it makes me not want to read the book.
