This is a great review. I am interested to find out who does win in the end. Will it be Pamela or Eric? :eusa-think:

Very interesting review. It easily mimics the situation that confronts the general population every day, particularly in the health industry: two competitors chasing for the same goal, one from a philanthropic pursuit and the other for big money. All too often we know just how badly this ends. Curious to see how the author develops the conflict and manages the outcome. Good that the reviewer set the stage so profoundly and revealed nothing of detail to spoil the reading.

The sample that I read bored me. Your review makes it seem like it might pick up a little. I'm hoping this to be true, and I'll put it on my to read list. Thank for the review.

You can never go wrong with realistic characters in writing. The author used this, I see from your review, and other appealing features which must be in a genre like that, to make this book enjoyable.
I'd like to read if I get a chance!
Thanks for your review!

Thanks for the great review! I am often reluctant to read crime/horror novels, because of the great disparity in quality of writing in the field. Generally, either the writing is great or terrible. Your review leaves me with some excitement. The characters sound well-developed. I am intrigued.

this sounds like a definitely must-read! You're right about the corruption factor with fame and fortune! Guess it's a good thing I don't have to worry about it. Then the words are sounds to the society.

This sounds like a good book with a great moral. I like books that make me think - is doing this justified or just self-serving? With a premise of an Alzheimer's cure, I would love to discover that the team working for the benefit of all wins. Guess I will have to read the book to find out. Excellent review, the sample left me unsure but your review tipped the scales for me.

This review makes the book sound interesting with well developed characters who are research scientists in the field of medicine. Although there is not a lot of action in it the author does a skilful job at holding and maintaining the readers interest and attention.
