This book seems to have it all: romance, action, adventure, dealing with terrorism and undercover agents. It honestly sounds like an awesome book, I just don’t think the genre is my cup of tea; I might consider reading it in the future. Great review!

This definitely is a great book that really touches on the happening around us. I'm not sure if it was necessary to put in such political statements. It would have reach out to large number of audience without that. It was still a fantastic interesting book though. Thank you for this book.

The book carries a powerful, universal theme rooted in real-world issues. Although a work of fiction, it delves into highly controversial topics, explicitly referencing political parties and connections. At its core, the story sheds light on the violence and crimes committed against innocent people, bringing this dark reality to the forefront.
Thank you for the review.

Your review highlights the book’s exploration of significant global issues, such as terrorism and geopolitical tensions. I like that you praise the geopolitical insights woven into the plot and note the complex relationship between protagonists Uri Levin and Lara Edmond, enhancing both tension and character development. The author’s nuanced portrayal of these themes likely enhances readers’ understanding of complex historical contexts. Lara’s character stands out as a strong, independent figure, reflecting the diverse backgrounds of those in national security roles. Appreciating how Jack Winnick integrates real historical events into his fictional story provides depth and relevance.

I have not yet read the whole book I read a portion of it and so far the way the characters are described in the story are spot on. I already can tell I will be able to sit down and read this book without getting bored. Just the beginning of the book is so sad yet so surreal. It's written so well that it's feeling like you are there with the characters in this book. As I started reading it I couldn't stop so to be continued I will be leaving a better response very soon. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to spoil it the kids in the story and what happened at the beginning is horrible and disgusting and very sad but it sounds like a true life crime movie

Lara Edmond is a strong and well-developed character. Their autonomy and technological expertise underline the importance of women in safeguarding and counter-terrorism roles, challenging preconceptions. Her bond with Uri introduces an emotional aspect to the story, illustrating how previous events shape her current decisions.
