Devil in False Colors impressively blends fiction with historical and political realities. The author skillfully weaves themes of international terrorism, Iran's nuclear threat, and geopolitical complexities. Congrats on BOTD!

Jack Winnick's Devil in False Colors is an intense thriller that plunges readers into a chilling investigation following a brutal attack on a Jewish preschool. FBI agent Lara Edmond and Mossad operative Uri Levin reunite both professionally and personally as they unravel a plot tied to religious and political strife. Winnick skillfully weaves historical and geopolitical elements into the story, touching on terrorism, Iran's nuclear ambitions, and the complexities of Middle Eastern politics. This novel is gripping and insightful, offering both suspense and a thoughtful portrayal of international issues.

Congrats to the author for the #BOTD. I read all the books in this series. I reread some sample pages of this book to remember it. The book brings Lara and Uri together again. What I learned in these books is that brave people risk their lives to fight terrorism all over the world. These books are appropriate for teenagers and up. Thank you for your review.

This gripping novel begins with a devastating massacre at a Jewish preschool in California, sparking a global outcry. As the investigation unfolds, Israeli national Uri Levin, a skilled Mossad assassin, teams up with FBI agent Lara Edmond, rekindling their past romance. As they delve deeper, they uncover a complex web of geopolitical tensions, religious extremism, and international intrigue. Winnick masterfully weaves historical events into the narrative, adding depth and authenticity to the plot. The novel's exploration of pressing issues like religiously motivated terrorism and global politics is both thought-provoking and timely. With its breakneck pace, complex characters, and nuanced geopolitical insights, "Devil in False Colors" is a compelling read for fans of political thrillers and crime fiction.

The book is nice and it is somehow fictional but I think the author based on a true story about the Jewish lives

It is so intertwined with non-fiction that it doesn't even sound like fiction. Mossad assassins, Hezbollah, Iran underground's activities and other geopolitical and political mentions made me conclude almost immediately that the author is Isreali or American conservative Christian. It goes to show how the use of 'Liberalism' will affect potential readers as well.
I am more in the center than any of the two political spectrums and I think I can fully enjoy the book without any grudges on the author. Congrats on BOTD.

The fact that it was inspired by true events is a little concerning. I'd never hope to see children harmed in any manner at all. Regardless, I applaud you for writing a splendid review. It hit the nail on the head!

“Devil in False Colors” by Jack Winnick is the 3rd book in Winnick’s fictional 5-book Lara and Uri series. This story begins with a massacre of five young Jewish children in their classroom. The bodies were mutilated by the terrorists and this heinous act really turned my stomach. To kill innocent children is a horrendous act that will drive Lara and Uri to hunt down the perpetrators and their leader. This is a fictional story based on similar real life terrorist acts that have happened because of the hate in our world especially between Jihad extremists and Jewish people. This reminds me of the Russian missiles that have been fired at Ukrainian schools and hospitals that have killed innocent children and the thousands of Ukrainian children that have been kidnapped by Russian soldiers and taken to Russia. These acts cannot be tolerated and the perps must be hunted down and brought to justice. I highly recommend this geopolitical thriller and the other four books in Winnick’s terrorism series.

First, a bombing incident left five children dead. Then we have two people with a romantic history coming together to solve the crime. I hope they don't allow their relationship baggage affect their work negatively, as those dead kids deserve justice.
