“Nekkid Lake” by Noah Bond is a well-written book with an incredible plot. I could not put down the sample until I reached the last chapter included. Since the book is not free, I am going to purchase it so I can learn what happened to the 14 high school seniors that went to Necklan Lake, a.k.a. Nekkid Lake, after their prom and all but one disappeared without a trace. The one survivor does not remember anything about that night and forensic experts found no evidence so the case went cold. Tess Chandler, a student studying for an advanced degree in forensic science came to Cobbler’s Knob as an intern and the sheriff assigned her the Nekkid Lake Massacre cold case. Was the Department of Defense involved? What happened to the bodies and evidence? Were demons involved? One must read the book to find out.

Noah Bond's 'Nekkid Lake' is a masterpiece of suspense and Gothic mystery. The author's ability to weave a complex narrative around The Necklan’s Lake Massacre is truly commendable. The character development is exceptional, and the witty banter adds a layer of authenticity. A riveting read that keeps you guessing until the very end.

A remote town with a massacre and a detective hell-bent on finding out what happened is very interesting, and to add to that, it seems like it's a gothic mystery, and I love gothic mysteries. I would love to read it soon.
Congratulations on BOTD!!

From the very beginning of the novel, Noah Bond, the author, captivates you with the plot. You're compelled to read "Nekkid Lake" far and through because you want to know what happens next. Why had fourteen seniors vanished that evening? Well done for winning BOTD!

Seems to be quite the suspenseful thriller. Tess has all the qualities of a brilliant mind to solve this mystery. Great review from start to finish. I can't wait to actually read it and get down to the details and engage with the other characters. Thank you for a great review.

In 'Nekkid Lake,' Noah Bond delivers a Gothic mystery that's both thrilling and well-crafted. The cold case of The Necklan’s Lake Massacre becomes a labyrinth of twists and turns, keeping readers on the edge. The character development is a standout, and the witty banter injects a dose of humor into the suspenseful atmosphere.

14 lost teenagers is a very serious case, especially it being the first case given to her. She has to have great patience to deal with all this. It is interesting what happened to the teens.

I definitely have to read this. There's nothing more exciting than a mystery thriller set by a lake. These types of stories are normally very intriguing and full of nail-biting situations. Tess sound like a remarkable young woman, that goes the extra mile to find out 'whodunit'. Definitely reading this soon enough. Thanks for an insightful review.

Mysterious disappearance of fourteen high school seniors on the night of their Senior Prom at Necklan’s Lake sets the tone of Noah Bond' s highly suspenseful novel "Nekkid Lake". I wish to read the novel with Tess as a dedicated and attractive sleuth. The review is well crafted and perfect in its description of the novel's interior.

Tess was given a cold case just to keep her busy. Little did they know there'll be a great awakening of something mysterious.
This book sounds so intriguing. I hope Tess eventually unravel the murder mysteries. Congrats on the BOTD.

Kind of an excellent story as a young officer gets assigned to a sleepy town sheriff’s office. Not expecting much Tess gets assigned a cold case with a witness who remembers nothing, part of the evidence is missing and the DoD is lurking in the shadows!
Just the kind of case that could make or break a determined young officer. "Nekkid Lake" by Noah Bond has well-developed characters and witty dialogue as well as twists and turns that will glue you to each page.
Great review!
