Interesting book with a good review! I like it when a book made me to think in different areas, in this book is existence of the watch. The doctors invented this watch with a good intention yet there are those who use it to serve their evil purpose. Almost everything is invented with good intentions but it left in the hands of the users whether to use it aligned with the good intentions of the inventors or for their selfish reasons.

Great Review. So far I like this book as well. It did draw me in trying to help them figure out if they need a gun and what would I do if I knew when I would die.

I have never understood why some countries allow gun ownership and the idea of having a device that tells me how long I have to live is intriguing. I will put Final Notice in my reading list.

Glad you enjoyed reading this novel. I'm not really into something like this kind of topic but it sounds interesting though. I wonder how the author went on his plot and his writing. Because of your review, I might give time to read this book. But for now, I'll save this in my bookshelf first.

This sounds like an interesting read, but I don’t think it’s for me. I have fairly strong opinions on gun ownership, and it seems as though this book would only cause irritation for me. Also, I wouldn’t want to know when I’m going to die. It will happen when it happens.

This review is definitely drawing in my attention to read this book. I like fiction stories that delve into somewhat ethical issues such as death, or in this case, the pre-knowledge of one's death. Fascinating idea. I am really interested in reading this.

Very well-written and ironically quaint, animated story with an obviously dark undercurrent. A satirical jab is being taken at gun-culture mania so prominent in the news these days. I've only read the sample but I'd definitely want to read furthur.

I can honestly say that this book sounds unique. It sounds like it has really good potential. I have to be honest. I'm not really sure if I'll fully like it. It sounds like it could be a bit dull to me. I'm going to give it a chance anyways and hope I'm wrong. I LOVE unique stories and ideas!

Thanks for the great review. In some ways, it would be nice to know when your life will end and how long you have. I guess that means you can plan better and not have to worry about certain things if you know you are not going to be alive. Very interesting storyline and I can not wait to read it.

This is a very intereting premise. Both the device and knowing when a person will die, and the question of gun ownership. Obviously gun ownership is under great scrutiny right now but how long will it be until we have technology similar to what's in this book?

Nicely written and informative review. 4/4 for you!

I found the sample for this book to be slow. The writing wasn't bad, it was just ... slow. I found myself drifting multiple times, and it was a chore to read to the end. I don't think this is a book I would pick up for myself.

In addition, I noticed a number of minor grammar errors -- comma faults, subject-verb number agreements, POV shifts, other issues. If the story had been more interesting I might chalk it up to a writer who needs a better copyeditor, but as is, it's just more trouble than I want to put up with. This writer clearly likes what he is doing -- I wish him the best in connecting with readers who are as interested in his topic as he is!
