I am intrigued as to how one goes about life after losing all their fingers and face. This book certainly seems like an interesting read.

The tale of Matthias is intriguing. It looks exciting because of the author's distinctive narrative approach. So, the author must flawlessly wrap up his stories. I want to test out these volumes. great review!

This seems like a well written novel. The premise is something I have never heard of before. I feel a little icky about the plot where he lost his face and fingers. But all in all this seems interesting.

I love the clarification the reviewer gives at the beginning. This is probably one of the most thoroughly written reviews I've come across. I'd love to see what Matthias does to those he deems his enemies and aslo find out how he lost all his fingers!! I wonder how well the first book ties into the second and it'll be a treat to find out.

I am curious about how the protagonist regains his face and fingers and how he carries out his revenge. The second book where he is retaliated against because of his revenge sounds interesting. This book sounds wonderful so congratulations on BOTD.

Loosing a face is traumatic. He not only lost a face bit his fingers as well. I would read this book because of how I love details. I will have to read the first book though. This is a nicely written book. Congratulations on BOTD.

This story seems complex and deep. I admire when someone can write masterfully in more than one person as well as
an author who chooses such heavy topics. This is a heavy topic indeed, being disfigured like that and all the events that happen prior to and after the accident are what I'm interested in. I also truly admire great plots and suspense so I'm looking forward to this one.
