I love reading mysteries and thrillers. This one seems very interesting, indeed. Great review.

I haven't read a lot of suspenseful books, but based on what you've said it sounds like a great one to delve into. I love a good character-driven story.

Absolutely wonderful review on this book. I have to admit that I have not in fact read the book in it's entirety, but I cannot wait to do so. The first 4 chapters had me captured, and extremely eager to continue into the next chapters. I am a big fan of Science and research, and can be a fan of Thrillers. This story has the detail and suspense it needs to truly keep you reading. I am really excited to finish this book.

This sounds like an interesting book. The end goal is the same but their motivation is different and I already want to know how it plays out. Thank you for the review.

I'm happy to hear that the characters and plot are so likable that it is hard to put down. That's my kind of novel.

The sample and your review have cinched it for me. I want to read this book. Lucky me I got a free copy of it after I was done with the sample. I like the authors writing style and I agree with you, "the writing was superb". I will be reading this book as soon as I get the chance.
There is nothing to writing. All you have to do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.

This is a wonderful book. If you don't read it in one sitting it's only because someone dragged you away kicking and screaming. Despite the scientific nature of some of the content, it is very easy to understand and follow. This was a fast-paced story that kept me glued to the pages all afternoon. The characters are great and relatable. The dialogue is a little stilted from time to time but it's not incredibly noticeable. The end is satisfying.

I read the first four chapters of this book, and it really pulled me into the story. Thank you, kandscreeley, for your review. I agree that you never know what is coming with the C/M/T/H genre, which is why I usually try to stay away from it. However, this book started out with great writing and enticing subject matter. Since you gave it a 4-star review, I am looking forward to finishing the book.

Finding a cure for Alzheimer's disease suppose to be the aim of team Eric Prescott, Leading Neuroscientist and team Pamela Weller, Junior staff at the Langmere Institute and Harvard Medical School. But the "Prize" by Geoffrey M. Cooper tells otherwise as team Pamela was about to dethrone the five times Nobel Prize winner, Prescott and his team.
Not only was team Pamela up against the deceptive Prescott and O'connor, Research Committee member, but the story got real deep as one of her own team member acted selfish, withheld information as she wanted full credit on her assignment for the discovery of a possible cure for the Alzheimer's disease.
Hence, many will agree that they are staff in the medical research community with ulterior motive while others work hard to save lives.

It got my interest already by looking at book the cover it looks like about a dream of a person but its not. Reading the reviews help me a lot to understand what would be the concept of the story.
