Thanks for the review! I usually like stories with crime investigation thriller aspects. In this one, I like that the story is about a young intern who is underestimated initially, but her brilliance surprises everyone and ends up solving one of the cold-case crimes. Add to it, good character development and the presence of banter, with keeping the reader hooked from the start, are what makes a good book memorable. Looking forward to picking this up!!

Quite suspenseful Gothic mystery "Nekkid Lake" by Noah Bond, which follows a forensic science undergraduate Tess Chandler. She is assigned a case that involves the mysterious disappearance of fourteen high school Seniors.

Stories that reveal mystery Interest me. I will read "Nekkid Lake" by Noah Bond to know if Tess Chandler helped unravel the reason behind the disappearance of the students with the aid of forensic science.

The premise of "Nekkid Lake" is captivating, blending forensic science, Gothic mystery, and paranormal elements. The author's clever incorporation of law enforcement dynamics, wit, and banter keeps the reader engaged. The mention of potential Department of Defense involvement adds an intriguing layer to the mystery, making it a promising read for fans of suspenseful fiction. Nice review.

Tess's character seems very interesting and would make me want to read the book, but since it's a goth novel, I will have to pass on this book. Thank you for the review.

I'm curious about Noah's inspiration to write a Gothic-inspired text and what distinguishes the mystery from other mystery novels. Thanks for your thorough review.
