This sounds like such a great read. You clearly enjoyed the book and became invested in the characters, and I have also been known to get a bit emotional when reading a really well written story. Your review was very thorough and was very well written and I look forward to giving this book a read. Great job.

Glad to see you reviewed the book 4 out of 4 stars. I plan on reading the book. Your review has made me more excited cause I love books filled with suspense. When characters start making you upset while reading the book and author has definitely created the effect he/she were hoping for.

Wow, this review makes the book sound awesome! I think it's interesting how the reviewer not only talks about the battle between intentions (looking for fame versus looking for a cure) as a battle of justice. Those two are different things, but as a society, I think we see the two intentions having a moral weight, especially when it comes to something like medical care.

An interesting read to find out if fame and fortune wins or genuine interest in finding a cure will. Thanks forwell detailed review.

The book sample that was provided today gives a hint to the rapid pace writing style that is referenced in the review. While I would echo the trepidation in entering into the genre of Crime/Mystery, when an author is able to crossover into general fiction writing that shows true talent on the part of the story teller. The characters appear to be fully formed, which might be the causality of the pacing of the book being difficult to put down. The general outline of the story, book sample, and book review have me intrigued to want to read the novel in full.

Sounds really interesting. I might give it a try. Especially since it's a quick read, as you said. Sometimes I just want to read something casual.

I am always interested in a book that someone says they could not put down! It is hard to find a good mystery that actually keeps you interested in the solving of the mystery as well staying invested in the characters!

As the saying goes "one man's food is another man's poison. The book is definitely going to give readers a behind the scene experience. It will also help people to give better accolades to Nobel Prize winners. I'm looking forward to having a nice tour through this book.

I tend to be drawn more towards fast paced psychological thrillers but your review gives several great arguments to give this book a shot despite what I favor. I also like to be engaged with characters to the point of literally feeling strong emotions and being invested in how things are going to be resolved. Thank you for a great review.

This definitely sounds like a must read! A lot of times, I find myself getting bogged down and bored by all the details and set up that often occurs in mystery/thrillers, but knowing that it's totally absorbing AND a quick read for sure makes me excited to read it.

After reading the sample, I wasn't sure if I wanted to continue and read the whole book. Your review assured me that it will be worth my time to finish The Prize.

I’d like to say I will definitely have to add this to my “want to read” shelf! This was overall an outstanding review and I’m already hooked on the book just by looking at your review. I can’t wait to open it up and read more. Sounds so interesting!

This book's premise and the review itself really grabbed me, and the characterization as well: Eric has "His eyes are on the prize, and nothing will get in his way."; Pamela is "only genuinely interested in finding a cure." Interesting, complex characters that aren't one-dimensional are what makes a good book in my opinion, and not so much the plot. If I ever end up reading this book, I'm pretty sure I'll get bored by the dull notion that "He's completely evil"/"She isn't capable of evil at all" and I really hope there'll be more to this book than a simple morality tale. As hinted by the review, there might just be interesting explorations of all these gray areas that I'll look forward to seeing.

This is a maybe from me. I like when a thriller thrills you, and this doesn't seem like it's that type of book. This just isn't my thing.

I love that you found yourself so involved with the book that you were mad at certain situations. I love the topic of Alzheimer's being a key role to a the Nobel Prize. It sounds interesting, having a competition feel association here makes it intense. Thanks for your review!!
