Sean's life definitely had more meaning once he got involved with Kayleigh and started thinking about someone besides himself, and he became very courageous trying to protect her. It isn't addressed in the book, but I think the author was trying to address it in a round-about way. I really did enjoy it. Is that so? It sounds like an incredible book, and I'm glad you liked it enough to give it a full rating, Prisallen!![]()

I am so glad that you enjoyed it as well! Thank you for the kind words!Bugtussle54 wrote: ↑18 May 2019, 20:26 You Say Goodbye is a beautiful story in the midst of a mystery. You are spot on with your review. Sean experiences a most vicious and heart wrenching moment in his life, that seems to destroy all hope for his future and his very life. It SEEMS to. What follows is a beautifully crafted story of a late in life coming of age and redemption. All along there is this mystery, and it's a humdinger. I didn't figure it out and that made me very happy. I loved this book.. great review, you covered all the bases without giving anything away.
