I love a story with lots of twists and an ending that's completely unexpected. Sounds like something I could sink my teeth into. Thanks for your lovely review.

Quite a touching story with a storyline touching on cancer and death of a close person. Thanks for doing justice to the book.

Along with the mystery, this book sounds like it has some underlying existential and humanitarian themes such as the meaning of life, courage, and friendship. Is that so? It sounds like an incredible book, and I'm glad you liked it enough to give it a full rating, Prisallen! :)

Sean's life definitely had more meaning once he got involved with Kayleigh and started thinking about someone besides himself, and he became very courageous trying to protect her. It isn't addressed in the book, but I think the author was trying to address it in a round-about way. I really did enjoy it. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

You Say Goodbye is a beautiful story in the midst of a mystery. You are spot on with your review. Sean experiences a most vicious and heart wrenching moment in his life, that seems to destroy all hope for his future and his very life. It SEEMS to. What follows is a beautifully crafted story of a late in life coming of age and redemption. All along there is this mystery, and it's a humdinger. I didn't figure it out and that made me very happy. I loved this book.. great review, you covered all the bases without giving anything away.
