The sample pages of this didn’t really thrill me, and your description of language being involved makes me less interested in this one. I am so grateful for reviews like this with a little more insight so I can make a good decision. I was a bit frustrated with the opening pages because it didn’t feel professionally edited or written. The author repeats the main character’s name so many times that it got taxing for me. I’m letting this one pass me by, but great job on the review.

A story with well drawn out characters and a relatable protagonist is good, but I want to read read it for the mystery. Great review as always.

This book is on my radar and seems like something I would like.

Just a nitpicking editing note: it was stated that the patient was transferred to "John Hopkins Hospital."
There's a spelling error there. The correct spelling is "Johns Hopkins Hospital." As often happens, they left the "s" off of "Johns."

Amnesia is usually employed to explain away unlikely events in a story. Tim's amnesia, however, seems to be a driving force in this book. A true-blue fan of thrillers, I am mighty intrigued.

I already like Tim. I like also that he's sarcastic. And I think you're right about Mary Ann. The ex-biker persona doesn't fit her name. Thanks for your review.

It sounds exciting! Amnesia makes for a creepy, unnerving ambiance. I'm intrigued by the premise, and would love to check it out. (Also, who is Mary Anne? You mention her in the first paragraph with no more reference to her until the end - is she a friend? A maid? A stalker? A pet dog? The mention of her with no background threw me off for a minute...)

It really sounds like this book has it all - a fast-paced plot involving the element of surprise, former CIA agents, memory loss, and a promise of enjoyment for those that like a variety of genres!

If there is one thing I love it's a good thriller. I can't wait to read this book. Another thing that draws me to it based on the review is the fact you mentioned it kept you guessing until the end. I love that in a book. It makes you not want to put it down. I'm definitely adding it to my list thank you so much!!

An an existential dilemma of nature vs experience, always makes a great scenarios to pay out. I really like to discover how and why person is turned out to became who he is and what will he do if circumstances are suddenly and drastically are changed.

The plot of this book sounds intriguing, and exciting, but I find I can't tolerate books with characters like Mary Ann. Thanks for the warning.

Thanks for the review, but I really don't like books with amnesiacs, nor am I too keen on the espionage and romance aspects, so this one's a 'no' for me.

Based on the summary of the review, the book is a page-turner. Additionally, crime and mystery books interest me. Unfortunately, the explicit sexual content contained in the book stops me from reading the book. Sorry.
