This book seems to have a very serious subject. It's sad but also inspiring to see a nine-year-old deal with such things. I would love to read it.

This sounds like an intense emotional thriller. I’m curious about how nine-year-old Vander deals with such intense sensitive topics and how both authors portray the consequences or reward depending on the event in the novel. However, this novel gave dark theme vibes; some issues are susceptible to me, so I will pass this novel. Thank you for an informative review.

This book already sound interesting and worth reading.

The reason why most women stay in abusive marriages is still one we are trying to understand but I know the reason of kids being involved is a major part of it.

What a heavy responsibility for such a little shoulder like vander's. But in all, I trust it will make him stronger.

Thick review I must say and quite detailed. Thanks.

It appears that the book is full of action, but with too much violence for me. So, I am going to pass this one. Thanks for this great review.

A story of a nine year old who provides for his family and has super natural abilities is definitely an interesting read. Thanks for the good review.

Making Monsters: Dark Origins is a fascinating tale of a dark mystery story plot with multiple themes involving the supernatural, psychological thiller and a unique protagonist caught up in the midst of it all. Congrats on being BOTD.

I read the first few chapters, and it's clear that this is an intense, well-written book. But I tend to shy away from books that focus on abuse so I'll be passing on this one. Nevertheless, I'm pleased to congratulate the authors on their achievement and for being awarded BOTD.

The content of this book could be a bit too dark for me so I think I'll pass. However, surely many other readers will find it interesting. Thanks for the informative and well-written review!
