The incorporation of many genres will make the book stand out. The categorisation under Crime Mystery Thriller Suspense I think is because there is crime occuring perhaps somewhere? Otherwise this was a lovely review. I think Hattie is someone most people would find fascinating. For her struggling to ask for help because she is scared to be vulnerable is something most people would relate to.

Filled with mystery and suspense, today's BOTD is a classic whodunit novel with elements of romance and the paranormal. Readers of historical mysteries and ghost stories, without descriptive violence and gore, are going to love this one! I've downloaded my copy; thank you so much! :-)

This book presents a bit of a journey into the past, as Hattie seeks to recover her memory. There could be something good or bad in her past that is of interest. Also, all that transpired between her and Vamelda would make the book even more interesting.

I usually do not like books set in historical times, but your review has me wanting to know more about this book. Your description describes it as a C/T/M/H genre with romance and paranormal aspects with a dash of humor—all the elements I look for in a book. It sounds like the perfect book for me. I thought your review was excellent, as the tidbits you shared were intriguing and had just enough information for me to consider this book.

As much as I think Hattie's initial approach to her situation was going to be counter productive, I understand the need to protect herself. I can't wait to see how you'd drama unfolds.
