First of all, thank you for the free sample l got to read on Amazon.

What l loved mostly about the book was the unpredictable plot. Which is of course well written & it kept me engaged. Never heard of this author before but l am intrigued so hoping to read more of his works

Murder mystery as owner of a small but successful sewing shop is murdered. A factory worker is also later murdered. This promises to be an interesting read as the killer is not easily identifiable.

After sampling this book, I really enjoyed your review and feel I have a much better picture of what the book encompasses. I like that the author leads the reader to suspect who the killer is and then introduces new evidence and witnesses.

I liked that the author sort of studied the Cambodian culture to get the things right in the story and not just make stuff up. I like stories that deal with crimes and thrillers and there ends up being a romance in between.

The book was lucky find for me, when I was about to travel to Cambodia a couple of years ago I wanted to know more about people's way of life and mentality there. Seeing books is related to the subject and main character is a journalist, and I do love investigating journalism a lot, was deciding factor and even through it wasn't all that helpful travel guide, I still have no complaints and enjoyed it a great deal! Congrats on BOTD!

This murder mystery is more of a thriller, in my opinion. I am curious about the shadow of doubt cast on the children of the deceased owner. Your review is illustrative. I imagine how the residents of the closed Cambodian community open up. The issues between the editors are interesting because journalists are inquisitive and informed. Another death before the first one is solved. The book has the makings of a great read. The logical reading is the icing on the cake. Delightful!

A Story Of Bad has excellent narration. The descriptions are very specific and it is very easy to visualize the scenarios. But in my opinion, sometimes things are over-described and you can lose the idea a bit. However the plot is very interesting. That's why I agree with the review. Thank you very much for sharing the information about this book with us.
