From what you shared, it’s clear that the book dives into a story filled with mystery, romance, and investigative drama — and I really love that combination! For me, it makes the reading experience so much more exciting. The plot about a retired investigator revisiting an old case, already considered closed and involving someone he once knew, sounds absolutely fascinating. It seems like the kind of story that keeps you hooked from beginning to end. Now I can’t help but wonder… what’s the real mystery behind it all?

"Precison" by d.c. Scott iOS is an enticing read. I am eager to know what kinds of murder and suicide cases were resolved in the book.

I like how the story blends mystery with personal drama and a touch of romance. The plot sounds rich, but the inconsistent writing style and editing issues would probably distract me. Still, the twist at the end has me curious.

'Precison started with a retired police officer bored with his job and needed some excitement. He found it in unsolved murder/suicide cases.'
Homicides always add a mysterious thrill to crime thrillers.

Thank you for the review. I read the sample. The story draws the reader in with an unsolved case about a man and a woman murdered in their bed. The knife is in the woman's right hand, but she is left-handed. I liked how humor is interspersed and the detail the author uses in the writing of the book.

Thanks for this detailed and honest review! I found it especially interesting that the story starts off with a retired police officer diving into cold cases out of boredom—what a great setup for a mystery. The part about the young man knowing details from decades before his birth really grabbed my attention; it adds an eerie, almost supernatural twist to an otherwise grounded mystery plot. I appreciate that you pointed out the depth of the characters and how their interconnected lives enriched the story. Your note about the author's use of sports and medical knowledge is also helpful—sounds like the book has a lot of texture and realism in those areas. It's a shame about the inconsistent point-of-view shifts and editing issues, but your balanced take shows that the plot still shines through. This review definitely convinced me to check out the book for the characters and mystery alone!

I was seriously considering reading this book, because I have always liked unsolved cases and can kind of relate to a retired police officer missing his work, but unfortunately the involvement of "young man who claimed to know the victims' lives way back to over twenty-five years before he was born" is a bit too much, since I don't like supernatural. Sorry and congrats, anyway!

Your review made me want to read the book up until you said some parts didn't connect properly. You speak highly of the plot tho, I might give it a try because of that.

This is the first book in a series. It deals with a series of cases that deserve in-depth investigation, as they weren't as simple as they initially seemed. And it features a host of great characters with whom you can follow the story. It's an interesting and entertaining in-depth read. Good work #BOTD

Well, this book sounds sort of iffy to me. It started out sounding like it had a good plot, but some of the errors in editing and the issues with the writing had turned me off. I think that I'll have to think about this one for a while.

"Precision" by D.C. Scott is a compelling mystery novel centered on a retired police officer who reignites his passion by investigating old murder-suicide cases, only to uncover deep secrets through a mysterious young man. I'm intrigued to read this! Congrats BOTD!

'Official Review: Precision: The Original Magruder Mystery' by D.C. Scott vividly describes the plot of the story. It sheds light on the bright and interesting aspects of the crime fiction. This is the story of a retired police officer who is bored with his job and needs some excitement. The book contains humor. It also contains the elements of mystery, adventure, and romance. It was great to learn that readers will learn about different sports such as football, softball, biking, and swimming as they read the book!

A fixture of drama, adventure and a bit of mystery makes this book something to look forward to. I hope the retired police officer finds all the excitement he seeks.
