I am a fan of psychological thrillers. Now, I am interested in reading bildungsroman and so I think this book is for me. I like the character of Juan and wish to read more about him.

This seems to be an exciting book. A picture of irresponsible parenting cause trouble for young Juan. It's difficult to ignore the problems that litter our world due to this menace. I'll love to know how Juan copes with the challenge. Thanks for the review.

I must admit, the title of the book sounded very dark and scared the day lights out of me, but Kennedy NC soon turned that around.
The words used, put me at ease, allowing me to further find out about "drugs and human trafficking, weaponry and plans". I'm curious to know how the author was so well versed in them. Anyway I too learnt some new words today- bildungsroman, debauchery and succinctly. So the review was well received. Thank you!

The Making Of Evil is a fictional novel where organization and operation of drug cartel and crime syndicate gets exposed. The author imprints the harsh realties of children born on the streets and in poverty. Thanks for a great review.

This is theme I am quite interested in and instead of some dull non-fiction I can read a story. Another book for my TBR and a word for my vocabulary. Thanks for the great review.

The life of Juan is such a one that's challenging from childhood and it's a big lesson for family and parent that responsibility should be limited for kids and that parent shouldn't force responsibility on their kids beyond what their age could maintain...It can be disheartening

I really cannot imagine such a delightful child as Juan becoming evil due to his extreme poverty and compelling circumstances! The novel is splendidly written and the review does justice to it when praising it.

The psychological impact that the environment a child grows up in is an interesting topic. Thank you for your review.

I don't think any child should grow up in such an environment like Juan did. Parents are responsible for their children and they should ensure they don't grow up too fast by taking up certain responsibilities at such a young age.

This fiction book follows the life of Juan and how his lack of childhood leads him to believe he is a bad man. It's impressive to see how thoughtful and full of life Juan's character is described by the author. I think many could learn from this book and to expand our perception of someone else's life. Congrats on the BOTD!

This is a great review and really gives a taste of what to expect when reading this book. I am not sure I needed to learn what the word 'bildungsroman' meant, but it is one more word to add to the dictionary of life! This book seems to cover some meaty subjects affecting the modern world daily, which should never be laid upon a little boy's shoulders. I want to read this book if only to find out if there is light at the end of the tunnel!

The book seems interesting and heartwarming in my opinion. It tells the story of a boy who due to circumstamces had to come to the wrong conclusions. "His naivety causes him to derive wrong morals from events happening to him, and he assures himself of one thing; he is a bad man" - this sounds really sad. It will be interesting to read this book. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
