I love crimes and mysteries, and I can't wait to find out what happens to Maria. I'll check this book out.

What a good read. This book is perfect for you if you enjoy reading about amateur sleuths and are seeking for a good mystery to take on the road. It has some good turns and places societal themes with care, but it's still a fun, quick read. I really liked reading your review, which you summed quite effectively. congratulation on BOTD to the author!

Thank you for your review. Mysteries are fun as they challenge the reader to deduce what is going on. With good character development, the story comes alive and gives a good mystery novel more depth. I'm looking forward to reading this.

You want to read the book so badly after reading this review because of how it explains the mystery in it. The review is flawless.

I already read entire "Max and Michelle Mysteries" series and while I hate to sound stereotypical, but what I have to say in regards of of this book is quite cliche: "previous parts were better". Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with writing style or intricate storyline, everything is just great, but for me the whole insurance business is kind of working in the dark, too hard for my understanding. No offense and congrats!

This is the first time I'm seeing a mystery novel involving workplace politics. I can't wait to see how Maria grows into this one.

Not to scribble much l do not only love crime and mystery stories but l find it educative to help give various reasons and ways of solving crime cases and that is a plus for the author for a good work done. Great review.

Sounds like an interesting novel to read, I will add it to my reading list. As you suggested, there are so many books and movies nowadays which are so predictable, so it's hard to find one which keeps you tuned until the end.

I very much like unpredictability and the element of surprise in books, and when you say that almost all of your guesses were wrong, I am thinking I need to read this book. Thanks for the intriguing review!

Mystery books full of intrigue with unpredictable plot twists are always appealing. The well-developed characters with thorough back stories will definitely make the BOTD worth reading. Great review!

I really enjoy mystery and thriller-type books, and this really sounds like a suspenseful one. It sounds like the mystery isn't particularly easy to solve either. Definitely adding to my reading list!

Informative review. I just finished reading a sample of this book, and despite the fact that I don't typically read mystery novels, I would absolutely give it a shot. I'm curious as to how the payroll problem will be resolved and who the murderer is. Congrats on winning BOTD.
