I can see that this book came to be as Cindy Jack was checking up the meaning of the word "tussle". There is story of hospitals justifying financial aid and Alonzo busy tussling on campus. I will pass on this one.

I really don't like books that has a boring beginning, so I'm passing this to those who might find interest in the book. I love the well detailed review. Congratulations on BOTD

The mystery surrounding the scam sounds promising. Haven't come across many attorney related suspense novels. Will surely try this one. Congratulations on being listed as Book Of The Day.

Interesting how much of a ‘meal' you make out of a single word: tussle. I'm surprised to see an equally interesting topic – you mention a health financing debate – in such a book! It was beginning to take the form a romance in your review until I got to that part.

It's 'normal' to have a boring life in my opinion. I think I am one of those with the patience to wait it out. I loved reading your review. It aids in looking foward to reading the actual novel. I love humor and getting to know the characters whom you already introduced us to. It does not sound like a crime thriller though...

You pointed out a lot of boring aspects of this book; it's good that you finally found something to compensate for it at the end.
Thanks for your honest review.

Now I'm curious about what "tussling" is and what is has to do with the story. I enjoy suspense novels and I also like romantic suspense, but since the review states that the 2 genres clash, I'm not sure if I'm going to read this.

The review was tailored for me to be liked but after I read it, it was not something that I liked. It was bland and boring even with the element of suspense. It just may be my own taste that is lacking. Congratulations on BOTD!

I've always loved watching lifestyle videos, and morning routines happens to be one of my favorite lifestyle videos to watch. Reading about what people are up too has never been a boring subject for me. I'm assured that this book is one that I'll enjoy reading. Thanks for this amazing review.

This is a romance and suspense novel. It seems Shea Rose has an eye for detail in describing Cindy. Interesting term tussled seems to drive the plot. Your review is well written. Congratulations on the BOTD!

The title 'Cracker Jack' just attracts the reader and the curiosity to know what it's about takes it from there. However, am not really a romance type of reader and this sounds like a romance book.

I don't like these kinds of storytelling with clear imagery. I don't like those overly descriptive details of the characters' lives because I think they're too insignificant to the plot most of the time. I don't care what brand of shirt she wore or what color her heels were unless they are connected to the plot. I want little details, but not overly descriptive ones. Let's leave things for the imagination of readers.

Thank you for the review!

The review is great but I do not think this book is for me. I have stuck through books that are boring in the beginning but only in the genre of science fiction or fantasy.

I get frustrated by too much redundancy and repetition. Thanks for the heads up.

It looks like you enjoyed it but I, personally, couldn't enjoy a book with too much repetition but thanks for your review!
