This sounds like a very fascinating book. I would love to see if Lemba is ever able to use his smarts for good. Thanks for the great review!

What a dreadful position for a 15-year-old child to be put in, and it happens this may be a work of fiction, but it sounds like it is based on well-researched facts. Thank you for a great review; this isn't a book I would usually look twice at but due to your study, my appetite has been wet, and I want to read it for myself. It is now added to my bookshelf!

Even though it's fiction a book like this can give a voice to people who otherwise don't have one. Los Rita's just so important for us to open our perspectives on the world and a book like this might be able to do just that.

Despite the horrors of his story, the author employs the endearing and adorable Lemba to tell the reader that there is a happy ending. Nice review!!

This is sad and brave at the same time. Young Lemba is forced to use his skills to achieve the agendas of terrorists. But apparently, he loves his family and is willing to protect them. The review communicates the idea that this text is more profound than just the pain of Lemba. It’s the sad cries of a people combined with hope and strength. Great review I look forward to reading this book.

The storyline of this book is well structured and it's not your regular kind of book. I am curious to know what happened to Lemba Adula. your review is superb.

Today's BOTD is a powerful novel set in the near future that follows Lemba, a tech-genius child soldier forced to join a terrorist organization to help forward their personal agenda. Drawing awareness to realities the Congolese people face, readers will be immediately pulled into the storyline and stay engaged through to the end. I love that there discussion questions are also included! This would be a great choice for book clubs and mature HS classrooms. Thank you so much for your review. I've downloaded my copy!! :-)

Everyone wishes to use their skills in the most honourable way. It's so unfortunate for Lemba, who has to follow the gun-worshippers instructions to keep his loved ones alive. I can not wait to read and enjoy Drone Child by David H. Rothman. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I felt very moved by the first chapter of the novel because it forced the protagonist to kill his parents for his survival. I like how accurate this review is.
Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

There is nothing that I disliked about the story since this is a re-review of the book, I can confirm that it is a great one. On the other hand, where Lemba Adula has no choice but to obey his superiors or watch his parents die wants me to read more because in this life one does not always get what they want.
