I enjoyed reading your review, it is engaging and beautiful. Although I don't like stories about gangs and mafias, this story seems interesting and I believe it could make a great action movie.

I don't think that it's a flourishing career if you're not in peace while doing the work. This book has a pretty great premise where the characters need to make big decisions.

Thank you so much for the review!

I absolutely love true stories and stories that are so well written, it feels like it could be based on a true story. This book definitely include that and also creates enough suspense and intrigue to keep you hooked! Well done on #BOTD and an amazing review.

I’d like to read it and find out what happens with the family and if Peter will be able to protect them. It feels like it perfectly blends historical fiction and crime.

The sheer terror of being thrown into a new country and becoming the focus of an insurgent gang adds a suspenseful crime story. I wonder how Peter became the focal point. I look forward to finding out.

This book accurately shows what it was like for a regular family who got mixed up with a terrorist group without intending to. Thank you for your review.

Carrasco '67 by Elaine Broun is a gripping crime mystery historical fiction about Peter on a race to protect his family from a ruthless terrorist organization. I like the setting and the plot of this book.

I know next to nothing about Tupamáros during their popularity in Uruguay around the late '60s, so I'm extremely interested in checking this one out.
