This review lays out the book nicely, and I can relate to your positive and constructive points. I currently have this book on my shelf, so to speak, and am waiting to read it. I think your review pushed me over the edge and I’ll go ahead and pick it up. Thank you for your honest, interesting review.

I don't know what I'd do if I found a box of diamonds...Much less once I thought my life was ruined. I wonder if Bev has something to do with it.
Great review!

The unfortunate Jack learned the hard way that there are no rewards for picking up diamonds at a train station. His already difficult life took a turn for the worse as a result of this ill-fated decision. The question remains: will he be able to overcome the challenges that lie ahead and emerge from this experience intact?

It seems like the author did a good job with his debut novel. I'm adding this book to my TBR. Jack is a very interesting protagonist. I love the cover too.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Devil's Ice by Jefferson Thomas. It sounds like an exciting and captivating action thriller that kept you engaged from start to finish. The plot and characters seem well-developed, and the omniscient perspective provides a broad overview of activities, which adds to the suspense.

Beautiful cover. I read a selection of the book and found the writing style excellent, although the story seemed to get off to a slow start for me. And I wish I hadn't been tipped off in the review that one of the characters would be killed along the way. That was a bit of a spoiler. Congrats to Mr. Thomas on his accomplishment.

Oh poor Bev! I wonder how she was involved and why she was killed. Although it does sound like a spoiler. I must say, like you, the title is what’s drawing me into this story, and your review makes me really want to read it. Your summary is detailed and it sounds like my kind of book. I love thrillers, and while I don’t mind books that are more slow paced, I prefer faster paced ones like this. I’m really interested in what Jack does about the diamond and how he’ll escape the crime boss. Amazing review! I’m definitely going to add this book to my list!

We make some decisions rashly when things seem to be crashing down on us. Jack lost his football career, he wasn't even lucky enough to keep his relationship. I wonder how the crime boss was able to know who took his diamonds. I hate that Bev died though.

The reviewer's analysis of the book is impressive, as he provides a detailed account of both the positive and negative aspects that he appreciated while acknowledging that their assessment may be subjective. Overall, it's a great review.

Devil's Ice is an engrossing novel that recounts the journey of an unusual hero as he fights to save his family from a strong adversary. It's packed with suspense, action, and adventure. The characters are engaging, and the plot will have you on the edge of your seat until the shocking finale. If you're seeking for an interesting and thrilling novel, Devil's Ice is a must-read.

This book promises excitment to fans of crime fiction. It sound fun, intriguing and thrilling. I might read the book because I`m curious what happens to the main character and how the story ends although novels like these are not my prefered genre.

This fast-paced action thriller sounds like it gives the audience something to really sink their teeth into! "Never a dull moment" is a common phrase that I think would absolutely apply to this book.

A nice fictional action thriller "Devil's Ice" by Jefferson Thomas, which follows Jack and his travails when he picks up the diamonds that belongs to the Chicago crime boss. I think that this book is entertaining to read.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
