it has been a while since i have read mystery books...i think this will be intriguing since the mystery part is near the end of the book rather than being the revolving genre all throughout

Thanks for the great review, bookowlie. I loaded it into my reader and immediately got hooked. I loved the author's sense of humor – especially how her sister, Bitsy forged a friendship with May. I felt the ending could have been a little more conclusive, but after some consideration, it ended well enough. I agree with your 4 out of 4 rating. :tiphat:

Thanks Dennis. I read this book last year so I don't completely remember the ending. Still, the author's writing style and sense of humor swept any less than perfect parts of the plot out of my head. :) After I read this book, I added her to my list of favorite writers based on her excellent writing.

Thanks Lay668 and welcome to the forums. :) I agree the cover is eye-catching, although I can't say the cover is a good fit with the plot!
