When I was reading the sample, I definitely got a Chuck Palahniuk vibe. It was written very well and established the character realistically. The cover is very scary and intriguing.

Wow, this sounds awesome! I love psychological thrillers so this one is going on my To Be Read list for sure! The idea of the story taking place from two different realities sounds very intriguing. Thanks for the review!

First thing draw me to the book was the cover. Creepy! And then your review really got me thinking about it. And getting caught into two realities, of two different personalities, a psychological thriller's best theme in my opinion.

Ok i read it and i like the character named tom, he is quite the paranoid guy but very firm on his decisions, he is a photographer and enjoyed shooting the 29 year old girl who walked in to his studio, he never really liked the art exhibition tour who was accompanied by sarah, and the couples taylor and mona. He thought the arts were recreations of the originals like dali. He had a cocaine addiction problem but left it eventually, whereas taylor still continues. Sarah seems to care alot about tom but she doesnt get the appreciation she deserves. Even though... i think this story is really interesting because it also gives you the pucture of how london treats its inhabitants... i would say this story is amazing and i would love to meet the author and ask him where he got the inspiration from.

What an interesting and lovely book to keep you going when you are bored.I read it and never regretted because it left me on the edge of my seat longing for more.Especially I loved the character Tom who enjoyed taking pictures of the 29year old girl.

Thanks for the review, I might give it a go since you mentioned it's a fast paced story. I'd never pick it up due to the cover. If it's somehow similar to the TV show Awake, I might just enjoy this book.

When I started reading about this book I automatically thought of Fight Club. I have seen the movie twice and at first I did not like it, but the second time I thoroughly enjoyed it. This book also reminds me of the television show Mr. Robot with its changing and blurring of reality. The spy theme of the novel intrigues me and I hope to read this book soon.

The book is all about a middle-aged photographer Tom, an ex-cocaine addict whose mind is playing tricks on him.

Incredibly succinct review! I especially love stories of a character with dual personalities, it's a double-in-one package. The confusion of the protagonist, not really knowing who he is, is something we can relate to once in a while, if you're one to occasionally 'step-outta-your-body' and look at yourself as if you were someone else. Honestly, I can't wait to lay my hands on this read. :techie-reference: Good job Paul Casselle :tiphat:

Sounds like a gripping read. It definitely sounds intriguing. Waking up and finding an alter ego must be thrilling. I will definitely buy this just to know which one presides over which.

I enjoyed this detailed review. I have mixed feelings about this book, though. I enjoy thrillers, but not sure about a dark, psychological one. I'll read the sample and give it a try.

Sounds like a fascinating read, where you don't know what's real and what is the (anti-) hero's brain playing tricks on him. Glad to hear it's well written throughout.
