Undoubtedly, Jack Winnick, showcasing his expertise as a Middle East Scholar in "Devil Among Us," intricately weaves a narrative that echoes the complex situation faced by Israel and Pakistan. Congratulations on earning the well-deserved title of Book of the Day!

I'm not very much into spy thrillers, but this book revolves around the geopolitical problems and terrorist threats faced by many countries around the world these, transforming the read into a journey that feels real.

Once again, you produced a wonderful review, Massimo. It is detailed and captures the very essence of this book. I like the fact that the books in this series can also be read as standalones!

The book is primarily presented as a spy thriller, the review suggests that it incorporates elements from other genres as well. Without revealing spoilers, the reviewer hints that the plot encompasses more than just the typical espionage narrative. The inclusion of a threat against Israel expands the scope of the story and introduces additional genres into the mix. Congratulations on BOT D.

Lara and Uri series is always promising relentless action and thrill. The plot is well-developed with realistic situations and concerns. International terrorism is a big threat to world peace and this book is time appropriate. Congrats on BOTD!
The review is detailed and insightful. It explained the plot highlights without any spoilers which is a commendable job. Thanks.

This is the second book in Jack Winnick's Lara Uri series. I have yet to begin on these. Have been on my TBR list for long now. Certainly more intriguing in light of current geopolitics. I loved reading the book review and the frank comments. Congratulations to the author on Botd!

"Devil Among Us" by Jack Winnick. An interesting book, talks Uri and Lara. Lara checks suspect, Uri coming in with Lara again for another mission, to solve the terrorist case together. Uri and Lara did all they could to uncover the terrorist plan or next move. This book is action packed just like watching movies. Congrats on your #BOTD.

Devil Among Us is the second in a series of books featuring FBI analyst Lara Edmond and Mossad field agent Uri Levin. Personally, I didn't find it as engrossing as its predecessor, but it's still a helluva book.

Jack Winnick's creativity in this book and others in the Lara and Uri series is what attracts me most. The shifting of scenes in the Middle East and the USA makes the story feel real. I read the book a few years ago, and I recommend it!

Quite a thriller, reading through it feels like watching the series that is action-packed packed especially the interesting relationship between Lara and Uri as they uncover many truths. It is a worthwhile read as the series continues especially if it captures the current unrest happening in the Middle East

This political thriller is filled with nefarious action and suspense. The intense plot began with suicide bombers blowing up a New York synagogue. The FBI assigned Special Agent Edmond with the Joint Terrorism Task Force to the case. Agent Levin from Israel’s Metsada was called to join the team. Will they be able to foil the next terrorist plot? I also read the first book, and I enjoyed this one even more. It had less technical and scientific explanations and focused more on the characters and the action. I enjoy reading your insightful book reviews. Well done!
