Due to the content of this book, brutal violence and graphic sex scenes, I pass on this one. But I'm glad you could connect to the story so profoundly. It's not very common to find authors who can convey the feelings of the characters throughout the story so vividly. It seems the author did a remarkable job here! Thanks for the review!

I LOVE books about serial killers and especially when they're the main character - protagonist doesn't quite seem the right word for such people - so just that aspect intrigued me. But add to it that she turns her victims into soap and etc. and I feel like I felt when I heard about Sweeney Todd; I MUST read this! ... And thanks for the great review.

Yikes, she makes soaps out of the remains of dead people, Gee where have i heard that before? Where placenta is being used as facial products. Hmmmm, don't want to read this book because of how graphic you have suggested it is, i scare easily and don't have the heart.

Wow, this book sounds perfect for Halloween! Sounds like someone has a Catherine the Great complex. I might just have to check this one out. Nice review!

I think tjis story is very touching, but am very much concerned with the way Sophia is implicated in serial murder.

This is a very concise review Anki_Real_Reviews. I really appreciated your review on the book. Sophia sounds like the sort of person I wouldn't want to cross paths with. This one is next on my reading list...

I love how Sophia is portrayed, and I am eager to find out what happens in her brain. I believe the author did a great job bringing such character to life. Thanks for the review!

Yikes, I'm running far away from this book, can't stomach horror in this manner. Glad you enjoyed the book though and I equally appreciate that emotional connection to characters in a story...just not this kind. Good job on the review.

Sounds a creepy book! A character where you can't actually decide if they are the "goodie" or the "baddie" is always interesting when done well.

This review makes me wonder about the author that she could write it in a way that allows the reader to connect with a murderer. I'm not sure I'll be able to read it.

Thanks for the detailed review. The book is not my type as it talks about someone fascinated with death.

Thanks for the review. I like thrillers a lot. A female serial killer who can feel herself comfortable and soothed only while killing somebody sounds very intriguing.

Thanks for your review, I enjoy dark scenes in books, the more disturbing the better (as long as it adds to story). An author who can make you feel bad for someone who has committed such heinous crimes, is an excellent author. I'm very excited to read this book based on your review, thank you for reviewing this book!

Some scenario in the story are really relatable. Her obsession can sometimes ask you how you feel if you lost someone. Lots of twists and in the end you can ask yourself if it's really blood is thicker than water?

Super review. I am a big murder mystery fan but turning victims into soap isn't a plotline for me. Sounds like an interesting book but it won't be on my shelves!
