"In Lieu of Flowers" by Keith Steinbaum raises some cogent questions about life. I am amazed that Gunari could be involved with stealing a child. Congrats on BOTD. Nice review.

In Lieu of Flowers by Keith Steinbaum is still one of my favorite books ever. I still remember the anticipation for the 74th anniversary of Petre's death. Excellent work of art.

The story of a young Romanian/Jewish child is nicely presented in the book "In Lieu of Flowers" by Keith Steinbaum. This book shows that life are manipulated by unknown forces.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

Congrats on BOTD! Keith Steinbaum's fiction story "In Lieu of Flowers" explores the lives of a kidnapped Romanian/Jewish child and the sinister forces that control human fate in a compelling and thoughtful way. Set in Bucharest in the 1920s, the narrative revolves around Gunari, a desperate cobbler who accepts a bargain that contradicts his moral principles and sets off a chain of events that will change his life.

This sounds like a pretty exciting supernatural thriller with lots of twists and turns. The reference to "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, The Island of Dr. Moreau, and The Exorcist" in the description of the book is really intriguing. I will definitely put the book on my To Read List. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

"In Lieu of Flowers" by Keith Steinbaum is a book centered on the story of a stolen Romanian Jewish child. Poor Bucharest cobbler Gunari agrees to steal a certain baby for a large sum of money. I like how the author thought-out the characters because they seem authentic.

This book looks like tight knitted emotional story which resolves around, grief, guilt, necessity. The moral dilemma vs necessity always a war for life and books review telling it been narrated well.

This fiction book addresses a striking topic about the stolen child prophecy. The controversy over whether life events are predestined or whether there are dark forces that influence them is interesting.
