Thank you for your review. I fear this book falls into the same tired shelf as many other crime mystery/thrillers. I really appreciate that you pointed out that the plot is believable. Perhaps it has a saving grace after all!

Thanks for an excellent review.
Crime thriller novels are not my cup of tea and though the novel is fast-paced and includes a range of topics I am probably not going to read this one.
I hope the writer gets the novel proofread to support the fourth star.

The Good Fight seems to have all the right elements of a good crime novel. I'm always drawn into a novel by a strong female character. Although there is mention of editorial errors, I would still be interested if giving this book a shot.

I think I will be able to overlook the errors due to the gripping story. I can't wait to read it.

I enjoy a good mystery but tend to steer clear of books involving the mafia, cartels, crime syndicates, pirates, and the like. The book does get off to an exciting start which I really liked but all the naval jargon bores me and bogs down a book very quickly for me.

Great review though. You pointed out several positive aspects to this book, and I think it would be worth reading for someone interested in this type of story.

This book has a strong and honorable main character. The story sounds interesting and is filled with action, pirates, and corruption! Congrats on book of the day! Great review!

This sounds like a very inspirational book, one that I think I would very much enjoy! Very nice review! :techie-reference:

I'm looking forward to reading this, despite the errors in editing. I like crime novels and corruption, especially. I also like when characters end up having to deal with issues caused by memories from the past, as it seems happens for Danielle. Thanks for the review!

While I'm not a big fan of books about boats, I do like how you wrote that the main character is a strong female character. I'm always interested in reading books like that. I'm glad the serious topics you mentioned in the book are not dwelled upon.

Despite small criticism I am determined to read this book, because after tv show The Last Ship's release I developed new appreciation for good marine stories))

Sounds like a really deep book. I hope that the author treated the intense themes with care. Also glad to hear that the nautical jargon didn't overtake the book, as I too have no familiarity with that!

This is one of those books that the cover leads me that think it is a much different book than it actually is. I would not think it was about pirates, mystery, or was at all fast-paced. Having read a sample this is much more something that I would read than I anticipated.

Thank you for your review. The character of Boris sounds interesting, and I do like a good villain.
