This book sounds like a fascinating adventure initiated to recapture the stolen mask. Your review reads as though poor George is in for a rough ride. Thank you for your very interesting review!

It's refreshing to see a short book of 86 pages in this genre, that too not from the glamorous perspective of a secret agent, but of a civilian. The review is interesting and descriptive.

Kind of reminds me of Indiana Jones. Sounds like fun. Thanks for your review!

George Melville is the narrator as well as the protagonist of this story. The story revolves around an artifact called the mask of perpetuity a made in China product of the 2nd century. The mysterious element with this mask is one of the interesting aspects of this spy fiction.

The plot is quite interesting. The characters George and Mad Dog seems to be quite likable characters that a reader would enjoy reading about. Definitely adding this to my reading list. Thanks for the wonderful review.

Based on the review this book is not something that I would enjoy reading. I do like to read adventure novels and how the story incorporated artifacts that had to be retrieved. I am not a fan of reading about espionage or spying. I think that I will pass on reading the whole book.

When I initially read the description, I thought this book wouldn’t be for me because I’m not really a fan of novels in that time period. But as I continued to read your review, I thought I might want to give it a try anyway because it seems like an entertaining read. Thank you for the review!

Pre-war world of espionage through an ordinary civilian's eyes and his sarcastic expressions sound like a good read! I'm adding this (and probably all other books from the series) to my reading list!

Ok, so the Mask of Perpetuity was a Chinese artifact. You explained the title well. The book lengths short and full of adventures. What else a reader can wish.
Whole your review is a piece of perfection.

I think this book could be made into a movie. The fast-paced action scenes and realistic depiction of the 1930's crime scene would make this a big hit all over North America.

I love adventures. And the fact that the book is more about intelligence operation, I will consider the book. Thank you for your insightful review. Kudos.
