Val McDermid is one of the most extraordinary crime and thriller writers, her research is impeccable and the plot twists in her books keep you reading page after page. Highly recommended author.

James Lee Burke and Michael Connelly. Both have very different writing styles, yet are equally wonderful at pulling you into the story and making you feel as if you know the characters personally. I have been following the Dave Robicheaux series by James Lee Burke for the last 10 years and am still thrilled every time a new one is released! As for Michael Connelly, it is his Harry Bosch series that has me hooked and always waiting for more!

Michael Connelly is one of my favorites, particularly the Harry Bosch series. I especially like how Connelly's characters appear together at times and cross series boundaries.

I'm Totally agree!

I love the books of Scarpetta. Mostly the first ones. The newest are less interessant. When I "met" Patricia Cornwell There Were not any of CSI series and was very interesant to read about forensics crime investigation.

Also I love Crime-fiction books from Douglas Preston and LIncoln Child. Mainly, the Pendergast Serie

Rick Mofina. I downloaded one of his books for free on my Kindle during a promotion, and was hooked. His thrillers are suspenseful, creepy, and the ones that I've read so far have been fantastic.
