I also found it refreshing that both of their characters lacked the typical bravado often displayed by agents in international thrillers. Uri and Lara are skilled agents who don't feel the need to prove anything to anyone. In Lara's case, it was her expertise and actions that won over those initially doubting her ability, as a woman working the assigned mission.
It must be hard to be a woman working in this field and I guess trying to prove to everyone that you're just as capable as your male colleagues would be most people's reaction, so I find this character very interesting. She must be truly confident in herself.
I'm not much into terrorism storylines, but it seems like this book is worth the while.
Thank you for your enthusiastic review!
Thanks for your observation. I agree.

It definitely seems like it would be full of action and suspense and hopefully well-developed characters. I like that there is also a romantic component weaved in the story. Thanks for the engaging review!
Thank you, Stephanie.

I imagined something completely different going under that title, so kudos for the surprise element! This sounds like an exciting plot, and I always appreciate when the book characters act and sound like normal people rather than supernatural. Thanks!

This international thriller sounds very interesting. I like it that it is a suspenseful page-turner hard to put down kind of novel. However, I'm not a fan of this genre. Otherwise thanks for this review.

An international crime/action thriller that has a unique and interesting plot and is realistic seems amazing. This sounds like a captivating story teeming with suspense and well-developed characters. Congratulations on BOTD.

I enjoyed reading your review! The title didn’t give a very good indication about what the book would be about, so I was excited to see from your review that it includes many of the elements I enjoy in a book! The characters are well-developed and the the plot is suspenseful; sounds like a great book to me!

"There is literally never a dull moment in the fast-paced, realistic plot which could easily be a current event" wow, I love fast passed novels, this will be a nice pick.

The title of the book does not represent its contents. I would never have checked it out if it wasn't for your review. I love suspense and thriller. Thanks for the recommendation.

This seems to be an action-filled novel with two investigate agents trying to solve cases of murder, etc. It also includes romance.
