I'm intrigued by the high-stakes drama in "Waterworks" by Jack Winnick. Lara and Uri’s mission to thwart a water poisoning plot while navigating personal challenges sounds gripping. I can't wait to dive into this mix of espionage and real-world threats.

Jack Winnick's "Waterworks" is a searching examination of the global water crisis and its possible solutions. Winick focuses on the pressing issue of water scarcity and offers inspiring ideas for solving this important problem. The book provides a comprehensive analysis of the effects of climate change, population growth and industrialization on our aquatic resources. The author’s use of real-life examples and mathematical data illustrates well the complexity of the problem. But some find the book lacks practical solutions and focuses more on raising awareness. Overall, "Waterworks" is invaluable reading for anyone interested in understanding the complexities of the world's water crisis.

his is an excellent and thorough review that does an outstanding job of capturing the key elements and strengths of the latest book in the Lara and Uri spy thriller series, "Waterworks" by Jack Winnick. The reviewer provides a comprehensive summary of the plot, highlighting how the story takes an unconventional approach to the terrorism genre by focusing on the threat of water supply poisoning rather than more conventional weapons.

Another entertaining encounter between Lara and Uri. The author writes nother gripping story involving detectives and the tactics they use to counter each other like publishing misleading information, poising water, and so on. A great book to read, gret series.

Lara and Ur are really national heros and have a love for their country. For them to abandone their honeymoon to attend to a national call tells me this. Waterworks" by Jack Winnick is an interesting book that details how a couple set out to find out the cause Los Angeles water system poisoning.

This thriller delves into a chilling plot where Iranian terrorists aim to poison Los Angeles' water supply with polonium. Winnick masterfully combines fast-paced action with intricate details of counter-terrorism operations, creating a gripping and plausible narrative. The protagonists, Lara and Uri, add emotional depth and realism to the story as they navigate this perilous mission. This book is a must-read for fans of suspense and those interested in the complexities of international security. Highly recommended for its compelling storyline and well-developed characters!

What would happen if terrorists planned to poison a major city’s water source with the highly lethal polonium. The race is on for Lara and Uri to track the bad guys, foil their plan and bring the survivors to justice. Pick up this exciting continuation of the team of Lara and Uri.
