I normally enjoy mysteries but I prefer fast paced ones. The cover seemed a bit strange and didn't caught my interest so I'll pass on this book. Thanks for the great review!

The cover doesn't seem anything like the plot. It makes me interested in reading the sample. Will definitely check it out later.

I like the way you portray Slacker as a fish himself (‘a good catch’) or a trophy of sorts. Plus, I’m jealous of his lifestyle; the compatibility of his work and leisure. But even if I can see that this book is not only about fishing, that activity is not something I see myself reading about.

As the title of this book is so catchy, the plot it has is so amazing. I want to follow Mills' investigation on what happens to his best friend Jerry. I want to read this book. Thanks for your wonderful review.

This book's storyline is just as catchy as its cover and title. I can't imagine finding my perfect life only to lose it to a dead body. Pheww! I'm guessing this would be an interesting read.
Congratulations, BOTD.

Character development is essential, personally, as a contributing factor when determining whether a book is a good read or not. I'm glad to see that it's present here. However, I have to admit that I'm not so thrilled about the one loose end, although the rest have been tied up! I suppose this is to make readers anticipate the sequel? Thanks for the review.
