The premise of this mystery novel is undoubtedly intriguing. I mean, it is undeniable that the "perfect" protagonist that being accused of murder is something controversial, right? Congratulations to the author for BOTD!

This book sounds really fun--fishing and Key West and a murder mystery. It sounds like a great book to bring to the beach.

In Lee Stone's Free Fish Friday, Slacker Mills is a charming angler, but when his best friend's death turns him into a prime suspect, the mystery unfolds in Key West. The quirky characters and coastal setting create a cozy escape.

Though I like the themes of forgiveness, relationship, and friendship, the detailed review of this book made me convinced that the storyline is not for me. I'll pass on Slacker's interesting story involving fishing. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

Thank you, guys!

I enjoyed the book and didn't mind the slow pace. Slacker is an unusual protagonist, I love quirky characters, and I enjoyed his antics. I also liked the themes explored and the unfolding of the plot. A body, smooth writing, and round characters make a great read! Hopefully, the author fixed the typos by now, minor though they were.

At first, from the book's title, I thought it would be a monotonous read, but as I read the sample available, I soon realized that it was, in fact, the opposite. Congrats on BOTD. This thriller is wonderful and was off to a great start. I hope the protagonist is able to clear his name as well.
