The review is detailed and honest. The cover didn't say much about the book, but the story itself seems well written. Great review.

Gali, I really enjoyed your review! I absolutely loved this book and its quirky characters. The author did a great job of bringing the setting to life and creating such a memorable main character. I agree the story is slow paced, but the pace fit well with the laid-back Key West setting. I love cozy mysteries, and this one was difficult to put down!

"Free Fish Friday" by Lee Stone is the first book in the series. The story follows fisherman Slacker Mills who tries to solve the death of his friend. I like that the main character matured as the plot of the book progressed.

Refreshing review and a unique approach to a murder mystery. This sounds fun with a taste of bawdry humor included. A promising read, especially for fishermen.

Slacker, a loner, decides to open up and make friends and the one person he ends up befriending turns up dead and he becomes the main suspect. The irony in the situation is interesting, I for sure will read more of this book. Congrats on being BOTD.To the reviewer kudos for a job well done.

I love mystery books, so I must give this one a try. From the review, I can smell a strong bond between the protagonist and Jerry. I can't wait to see how they relate.

Great review! I learnt all that I needed to know about this book whose sample I enjoyed a lot. Though I don't understand the joys of fishing, this novel catches the feelings of true fishermen in a pleasant way.

Free Fish Friday is a book that can interest and inspire you in so many different ways, just like it did for me. I say this because you can have a passion for something yet you never expect any turnovers to occur especially more when you're living and focusing on the positive aspects of things. So this book itself has taught me to always be prepared for the ups and downs of things, even if they seem impossible to get past you can overcome them.
