I’m looking forward to digging into this book to find out of Slacker will be able to clear his name from the murder accusation of his friend and be reclaim his popularity in the community. I love reading mystery novels and this one is right up my alley.

A good cozy mystery with a quirky main character looks like a fun read. I agree that nothing worst than being accountable for something you never did. Fishing isn't really my cup of tea, but this review makes me wanna know how Slacker was able to solve mystery of Jerry's death and prove his innocence. Thank you for a nice review.

The author seems good at character development. That is a good feature to start with. From this intruiging review, I think the book will be a good read. Nice review. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

It's quite sad how people quickly turn their backs on a supposed friend once there is tragedy around.
As for fishing, it remains a mystery to me.
Congratulations on BOTD.

Well done for this lovely review. I am intrigued and wonder why Slacker was a suspect in the murder of his friend.

As much as the murder mystery might intrigue me, I don't think this is the book for me. I am not sure I would find a book about fishing exciting enough to read. However, some people may find it worth their time. Anyways, congratulations to the author in book of the day.

An insight into the world of fishing and their groupers with a murder to boot. Explore Key West with the locals while work to solve the murder is underway.

Very well worded and the reviewer really enjoyed the book. The review honestly made me consider reading the book. I do think that the reviewer did mean to say rounded anytime they used “round” but none the less I actually enjoyed this review. I found it intriguing the fishing part though may not be my cup of tea.

"Free Fish Friday" by Lee Stone is a delightful start to the Slacker Mills Mysteries series. The book takes readers on an enjoyable journey to Key West, Florida, with the eccentric and charming protagonist, Slacker Mills. The first-person narrative offers a unique insight into Slacker's thoughts and emotions, endearing him to the audience.

Stone's vivid storytelling brings the characters to life, and the fishing scenes are so well-described that one can almost feel the excitement of being out at sea. While the mystery unfolds at a steady pace, it's the quirky and well-developed characters that steal the show.

The book balances humor and intrigue, touching on deeper themes like friendship and forgiveness. However, not a fast-paced thriller, the story's charm, and the idyllic Key West setting keep readers engaged.

Overall, "Free Fish Friday" is a solid, cozy mystery with a quirky main character that leaves readers eager for the next installment. I highly recommend it to mystery enthusiasts who enjoy a slower-paced, character-driven narrative with a unique coastal backdrop.
Sincerely,
Sondang :tiphat:

The fishing trivia adds a unique touch, keeping readers engaged in Slacker's world. The neatly tied loose ends leave room for anticipation in the next installment.

The characters are well-developed and relatable, especially Slacker's growth throughout the book. The mystery's slow-paced approach adds depth to the narrative.
