I've reviewed another book by this author, and it sounds like I would enjoy this one. Thanks for your interesting review.

A book based on religiously motivated international terrorism, Iran’s nuclear threat, and Russia’s shady role in all of it sounds quite amusing!

Thanks for your review! It's interesting how the book relates to current events like the issues with Iran and Russia. I don't like the bias against Muslims that is present; they already face enough prejudice without being portrayed as child-killing terrorists. The political slant against liberals is also concerning.

Thanks for the review, I like books that have their foundation in historical facts. I also appreciate that the author took the time to distinguish between Sunni and Shia Muslims, as well as some of Hezbollah’s underpinnings. Most of the time people generalize terrorism and we lose sight of the fact that it is mostly a small group of fundamentalists that usually causes the most trouble.

Sounds like an interesting twist (anti-Semitism) on what’s become a very common problem (school shootings). From your review, it sounds like the author weaves together a lot of different geopolitical issues in a way that makes for a great read. I may have to check this one out. Thanks mmm17. :techie-studyingbrown:

Although your review was excellent, I will personally not read this book. I am tired of the same ideas regurgitated constantly: Arabic speaking terrorists, Russian involvement as a villain, etc. If we should have learned something from the second world war, it should have been that the persecution of one nationality/one religious belief is wrong. There are so many innocent people suffering from these wars, that I simply cannot enjoy reading yet another book that deals with these issues and feeds into mainstream media.

I read the sample, and the book had my attention from the beginning. Although the subject matter can be sensitive, it sounds as if it is well written, meaningful, and the characters are interesting and well developed.

The sample provided sounds interesting and fascinating. This can be easily mistaken for a thriller movie. There's comprehendible conversations, adequate description and suspense. The grammar is friendly. Congrats on being BOTD.

Oh, how very intriguing! I'm not at all thrilled about children's death and normally this opening scene would have been enough for me to put this book down. BUT! I do like title and description, and I really like review and all benefits it listed. I am gonna read the book and intend to enjoy it great deal.

I appreciate books with strong female characters and I like Lara already. The strong political views has me a little wary, but I think the book is worth it. Great review.

A book about terrorism that begins with a vicious massacre that leaves five children dead, that is very strong for many readers, despite that, this book seems interesting.

This book does not sound like it is missing anything to make for an interesting read. Terrorism, assassination, investigations, and romance sounds like there should not be a dull moment while reading.
