Clare's desire to help her patient led her down some dark and demonic pathways! I appreciated your comments about the author's knowledge of psychology and biology. Keeping your interest through 500+ pages speaks highly of the author's writing. Great review!

I enjoy novels that feature satanic rituals and secret societies. I may give this one a look. Thanks for the review, ritah. :techie-studyingbrown:

This is an excellent review! The book sounds thrilling, as it incorporates many different elements such as satanic rituals and a mysterious murder. I'm particularly interested in the twins. Do they remain nameless throughout the story? How is their mental illness presented and related to the strange events occurring in the book? I'll have to put this one on my shelf. Thanks for the recommendation!

Yeah, no. Sounds a bit too dark for my taste so I think I'll take a pass. It sounds like it was well-written, though. Thanks for an interesting review!

I stopped reading and watching dark movies and books a few years ago to keep myself enlightened and positive. However, I would love nothing more to read this book especially after your thorough review. Nice job!

This excellent psychological thriller is a great work that many readers will appreciate. I like it that the novel is cleverly interspersed with a satisfying amount of science fiction, romance, crime, and mystery. I've grabbed.

This is an outstanding review. However, I don't think if I will be reading this book anytime soon. I will recommend it to science fiction lovers. Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

Thanks for the excellent review! This sounds like an intense read, however, I don't read books that contain satanic rituals. I love a good mystery but without the rituals and the sci-fi effect. I'm sure it is a good book but I will pass.
