Even though this isn't the type of book that I typically enjoy, the author's writing skill is terrific. From the pages that I read, you can tell that Mr. Schwartz has marvelous control of the language. I don't plan on reading this book right now, but it's a possibility for some summer beach reading. Congratulations to the author of BOTD honors.

I was not expecting this book to be about family drama judging by its cover. It looks like there will be lots of back and forth between the two grandmothers. Poor Tyler. Thanks for the review!

500 pages is indeed a long story, but it seems to be justified by the intriguing characters and story line.

It is hard to write such a long book and keep the reader interested, especially when there are so many characters and, I guess, subplots. I love a little family drama (on paper), so I'll be sure to add this book to my to-read shelf!
Thank you!

According to description I believe this book to be very interesting and promising! Characters seem to be very logical and believable and at this point in time it is the best recommendation you ever could give a book to make me want to read it. Great plot helps too)))

Anyone might hesitate instantly to read a 500 pages book. But with suspense and unexpected twists and turns , one will never feel the length of the book when actually indulge in the intriguing storyline. I always love to read suspense thrillers.

A story geared to family drama. It seems to expose conflicts associated with deciding who is going to raise the girl Rachael. Her mother (the protagonist's wife) recently passed away. The plot involves crime, police investigations, and some strong themes like child abuse and suicide. Sounds interesting.

This is a thrilling family drama about a family trying to get rights over two children who are left behind after their mother passes away. Unique plot. Congratulations BOTD!

The book cover is superb. The story is written in the third person and the plot has been nicely woven to keep the reader engaged. Tyler is not an easy character to like, at least in the early part of the story; hopefully some redeeming qualities will be revealed as the story unfolds. I noted that the story contains some weighty topics, but as I was rather sad to reach the end of the sample, I think it may still be worth considering. Thank you for the excellent review.

I occasionally like reading long books. This sounds quite interesting honesty. It also seems to be quite well-liked. I very much enjoyed the review. I like the points that you mentioned. Thank you! :)

This is an interesting family drama legal thriller highlighting Mississippi, crime, loss, grief, family, culture, love, detective, and hidden intentions. The book is free on Kindle Unlimited and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.
