I hope Nick and Reggie unearth who is abducting the girls... curious about Coop's role too. The story has every necessary element and is appealing. Added to my TBR. Your comprehensive review was excellent. Thanks.

The book sounds really interesting and engaging that will definitely keep me on the edge of my seat. A former assassin who is no longer bound by the law enforcement or the government is a loose cannon. I'm sure those trafickers will pay for their deeds. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Great review! You really captured the intensity and suspense of "Death's Companion" by James Meenagh. The dynamic between Nick and Reggie sounds compelling, and I’m intrigued by Coop’s unique character. It's interesting to hear how the book balances action with moments of humor and emotion. I can see why you found it hard to put down despite the graphic content. Definitely sounds like a gripping read!

Your review makes it sound like I am watching one of those CIA movies with a corrupt politician with a lot of societal influence. It makes this book sound so interesting, and it is definitely worth the read. This is a great recommendation.

The book highlights timely and relevant societal concerns.  The story is packed with action and suspense, incorporating themes such as law enforcement, human trafficking, undocumented immigrants, and impoverished neighborhoods.  The touch of humor appears to balance the seriousness of the themes.

The fact that the story has a significant amount of profanity and graphic violence makes me want to check it out, the review makes me know exactly what to expect once I start reading it.

I enjoy investigative novels, so I'm sure I will find this book quite interesting. Just reading the first section, I was already captivated. I'm curious to know how Nick Parker will solve this mystery and hopefully bring those girls home.

This review makes "Death's Companion" sound like a gripping read with intense action, suspense, and emotional moments. Despite some violent and profane scenes, the compelling storyline and dynamic characters, especially Nick Parker, seem worth it. I’m intrigued by Nick’s journey and Coop’s mysterious behavior. Definitely adding it to my list!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting crime thriller following Nick, a retired government assassin, who is called in by an old friend to investigate and potential stop a group that is kidnapping young girls for human trafficking. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Hi!

Wow! I love the review! The book, "Death Companion," by James Meenagh appears to be a great book to read! The subject of stopping a human trafficking ring and the use of a dog by the name of Coop to help solve the crime has piqued my interest in this book. :D

" Death's Companion" by James Meenagh portrays the narrative of an accomplished US Government professional killer, Scratch Parker who surrendered his situation to join policing a decade on the messy undertaking. This is an imaginary wrongdoing story that helps us to remember the trouble cops frequently need to fight with in their everyday examinations and the twofold dealings that structures part of their set of experiences.
