A book set in an iron-curtain country seems to be thrilling.

Thank you for the great review.

Here in Africa Tribalism is a huge problem. The amount of poverty, death, and destruction that has resulted from it is astounding. I have noticed that the author used humor in expressing these things. Which I thought to be quite interesting as this sort of covered such tragedies. I appreciate the review, it is excellent.

I agree with you that this book is worth the read. I enjoyed the action and fast-paced nature, especially in the beginning. It really drew me into the book nicely. I'm glad I sampled it, and congratulations on the BOTD.

Though I don't read political or war stories, I will pass this bookon to family members who like these stories. They would enjoy the backround of post Siviet Union intrigue. Thanks for the review.

A standalone read, second in a political thriller series. Set in post Soviet era, this book will keep the reader engaged. Genre fans should check this one out. Thanks for a great review.

a long Night of chaos sounds like an intriguing action packed novel. I am glad that although it is a series, it can be read as a standalone. The big question is; Between his duty to the people and self preservation, which one will Ruslan choose ?
