How well romance and suspense are combined! My kind of books are those that are so strange. This book is elevated to a whole new level by Linda Burson's masterful handling of friendship and betrayal, trust issues, small town dynamics, and secrets. The story has been completely validated by the critic, who has also enhanced, making it more appealing. Best wishes on BOTD!

I have to admit that am not a fan of romance novels but this one has piqued my interest. The mystery part of it is what makes me want to see how the plot pans out. A big kudos on bagging the book of the day and a thorough and informative review. Excellent!

"Murder Among Friends" by Linda J. Burson is a captivating crime thriller and romance novel. With well-developed characters, witty dialogue, and unexpected twists, this book keeps you engaged and invested in the story. Despite some errors and mature content, it's an excellent standalone read with a satisfying conclusion.

What seems to be a playful vacation for Cammy turns out to be a hunt for the murderer of her nephew’s friend’s mother, Paula. Love struck and desperate to clear Paula’s widowed husband Grant’s name adds a romantic angle to this plot. The nosy neighborhood and playful banter between Cammy and the children are humorous. That was a well-analyzed review of this book.

I love a good murder mystery, but not so much those that are mixed up in a romance. Still, this one might be worth checking out. Congrats to Ms. Burston on BOTD.
